Prince of Jaipur

I love Indian food. Not the all vegetarian part though, I have an Indian uncle (husband of my aunt) and when we went to the States I had a taste of pure vegetarian Indian food since they are Hindu. I have a few faves but when my uncle took as to an Indian street in downtown Chicago called, Devon where there are so many Indian restaurants down the street I had the taste of every Indian dishes and I love it. Now I also had my husband convinced that Indian cuisine is delish.

As much as I found affordable Indian restos in the Metro, I also love the pricey classy restaurant Prince of Jaipur in The Fort. I've been there once and with the free entertainment of a belly dancer plus their very authentic Indian cooking, I will definitely return to that place, maybe this September, in time for my Husband's birthday since we both love the food.

Try their place, the money is all worth it. The place is cozy and clean. Classy and actually I can say, fine dining. The executive chef is Indian and we actually met him. Really nice guy and he made sure that night that all guests are satisfied with the food.

Quoting MunchPunch:

Prince of Jaipur is probably the most impressive Indian restaurant in the world, having the best and expensive and extensive collections of vintage wines like Petrus and Chateau Lafite, etc. Best Italian Grappas of the world, mexican tequilla of the world, scotlands malt wishkis of the world, best vodkas of the world, French congacs and of course champagne crystals and domperignon.
View their Menu here. They also have branches in Mall of Asia and Eastwood, I think.
