Help 101

We all know what happened to the Philippines and in times of emergency we all learned one thing, be always ready. But who can predict natural disaster? So if we need money we must have something to rely on like fast cash payday loans, with just few requirements you can have the amount from $100 to $2,500 with just waiting overnight. They approved loans regardless of credit history. Plus they are even experts in helping you pay your bills and financial difficulties. And applying only takes a few minutes and you get your load after 24 hours. How fats is that? I wish our country finds ways to have these kind of loan especially from government offices which should be reliable for Filipinos especially in times of trouble. A friend who is one of typhoon's victim wished she could have cash advance loan asap and I actually wished that too for all the Filipinos who need help right now and don't have anything but nothing.

Mr. Kurosawa

This place is located at Eastwood City Mall. I discovered this new place last Saturday, my best friend brought me here for dinner and I love the gyoza, tofu and maki we had. I had to bring my family the next day for dinner. Since I love Japanese cuisine, I was a bit skeptic about the look of the place, as if I am entering a bar, the waiters and waitresses dress in funky clothes with the men wearing highlights on their hair and the ladies wearing boots! I was thinking, I will get drunk after dining there but no! The food is Japanese with Euro fusion, so I heard. They even serve pasta and pizza! The ambiance is very lively and the food? Perfect 10! I was too engrossed with the food that I forgot to take pictures. Sorry! But I highly recommend you try this place. They have a lot of choices that you have to take time in reading their menu. As for me, I recommend you try their California Maki, Chicken Gyoza (steamed) and the Tofu Steak.

Gold Coins

Have you heard of investing in gold coins? A single gold coin can start something big for your future and who would have thought you can invest in pure gold? I learned about this when my friend told me about his coins investment at Gold Coins Gain. So I actually asked questions about it and was amazed of how knowledgeable he was in his investments, he has so much gratitude from Gold Coins Gain for explaining stuff to him, now he preserving his wealth and is still adding up growth in his existing wealth. He is feels well protected of his assets and is certain that he can give much confident to them since he has been with them for a few years now and his investments are still growing. He also have much praise to the people who continue to help him along the way. I sure hope I can invest in something like this in the near future, you know uncertain our world is today and I must agree when he said to me that we really should think of our future and the future of our family!

Dashing Diva

I had nail spa experience yesterday with my best friend at Eastwood City Mall in Libis Quezon City, the nail salon is called Dashing Diva. My verdict? I score them 10! I think they are experts when it comes to your nails. Love how the nail expert treated my feet with so much tender love. The salon is very clean and sanitized. Their staff are all well groomed and presentable. When I come back next time, I will have my hands treated with paraffin wax too. Let me share photos of my feet during the All-Out Diva Pedicure Package that lasted for 60 minutes. The package includes deep exfoliation treatment, a relaxing foot and calf massage and a soothing paraffin dip, finished off with a pretty polish which costs 950 Php.

Getting ready for the paraffin wax dip

My Fresh Bloody Red Polish as Always

I should try other nail color next time and I'm excited to come back and try paraffin wax on my hands, I heard it can relax, I so need that from prolong use of my laptop.

Paintball Gears

The husband is thinking of trying paintball with his office mates soon. I thought it is an expensive hobby and now that he is into biking, I think he better concentrate on just one hubby but he told me about ZephyrPaintball.com and I was convinced that he can try it without sacrificing our budget. Zephyr Paintball offers great deals on gears like the Paintball Air tanks, paintball guns, paintball goggles and hoppers. They carry a complete line of paintball stuff even jerseys, playing and casual apparel and many more.

So I browsed the site and actually found great prices plus they promised to smooth and worry free internet transaction in every purchase not to mention their assurance that you get quality products from their store. I will definitely consider saying yes to the husband, as long as he doesn't get addicted, it will be fine!

Joey Pepperoni

One of our favorite pizza places in Manila. We love The Works pizza, always it's freshly cooked. The thin pizza crust is what we love, crispy and cooked just right to perfection. Their pastas are as equally loved. We always love to dine in the nearest branch to our house which is located at The Fort Taguig City.

Medical Info Drive

A lot of people are misled with the information about Medical Marijuana or scientifically known as medical cannabis. There are many studies regarding the use of cannabis in the medical field. Scientists several health effects of marijuana and surprisingly discovered medical benefits of it in the process. It is one of the safest therapeutic substance known and nobody died in overdose. It is wildly known to help relieve of nausea, muscle spasms and chronic pain. It is also proven to help in the aid of treatments in Glaucoma, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy and other conditions known in the medical field. A lot of countries are already accepting marijuana to have beneficial uses but still some places are skeptic about it and continues to debate about the matter. I was very skeptic with regards to these information but after a few discussion at work and gathering much needed help from MedicalMarijuanaGroup.com, all of us at work had a broader prospective with regards to Medical Marijuana.

The Spa Experience

My best friend and I had our first The Spa experience at their branch at The Fort and I must give them 2 thumbs up for that. The place is very well kept. I love how we get our own very clean white robes and rubber sandals. We can place our belongings inside our designated clean lockers. Plus the jacuzzi is very spacious and nice. We didn't try the sauna but we vowed to try it the next time we come back. And as for the massage, it was heavenly relaxing! I slept soundly that night after our massage. So our verdict? We promised to go around their branches and try different services. This place is such a relaxing place, we definitely got our money's worth.

Mexicali, Our Mexican Food Haven

My husband and I love Mexican food. We sometimes crave for Enchiladas and Burritos plus that hot cup of Chili Con Carne and its like a mutual understanding that we dine at Mexicali.

Quoting their site:

The idea is simple: Recreate an authentic San Francisco-style taqueria in Manila for Filipinos to find out about a California staple and for ex-Californians who miss this type of food to have a place to go. At Mexicali the emphasis is on the burritos, San Francisco style. We've never been to Mexico so we don't know what authentic Mex is. We do know that the Bay Area burritos are terrific, and are particularly intrigued by the way San Francisco restaurants reflect the incredible demographic changes that our favorite “city by the bay” is going through.
I must say that Filipinos who are very adventurous in trying authentic cuisines should give Mexican food a chance, like Indian food, it grows on you, I on the other hand had, like, love at first taste, my husband's palate is a lot different because like Indian cuisine Mexican food grew on him. Try Mexicali and you will experience what I'm talking about.

Karisma in Riviera Maya

Do you know what "Karisma" means? It's a Greek word which means divine favor. Which is what Karisma Hotels + Resorts is all about. With the collection of divinely favored properties on secluded white-sand beaches on the Mexican Riviera Maya, you will definitely feel divine.

With their all inclusive vacation packages, who can ever go wrong? Experience a VIP treatment from their staff and first class facilities and amenities in their hotels and resorts whether you choose to be staying near the beach in their beach side beds to pool butlers to swim up suites, you can never go wrong. As for me, I want my family to experience their beachfront candle light dinners and I want my husband to get a first class soothing beachfront massage while my son enjoys the sun and the sand. It will be a wonderful treat to have a vacation at Riviera Maya someday.

Corporate Reimbursement Services, Inc.

I have medical representative friend and a beauty brand stores supervisor friend, both of them are mobile employees that goes around. One goes around the hospitals while the other one goes around malls to check on their products and sales and while both of them are mobile they have big difference in their jobs. One gets Auto Allowance while the other does not. This less luckier friend comes to me and asked me is she is doing the right thing, sticking with the company, getting okay salary but instead of saving more, some of her savings goes to gasoline to do her job. She is actually thinking of quitting next year but I told her why not think of a better way instead of quitting what she loves to do.

I suggested why not introduce to her bosses on their next meeting the management consulting firm called, CRS, Corporate Reimbursement Services, Inc. that helps companies calculate accurately the rates for each individual mobile employee, with every geographic cost variances, territory conditions and the actual number of business miles driven. They fairly gets all the info and they can offer great programs for companies to choose from so they will have a better way to cater for their employees. Maybe her bosses don't have the idea that a reliable company like CRS exists and if she gives them that then maybe her problem can be solved. Sometimes quitting should never be an option.

Cafe Via Mare

Quoting Click the City:

The flagship of the coffee shop chain was established in 1982 at Greenbelt 1. It was a lifestyle innovator that serves traditional Filipino merienda fare in a very cosmopolitan setting. It was one of the very first establishments that led to the development of Manila's café scene.

I must say that Cafe Via Mare is one of my favorite establishments when it comes to Filipino cuisine. The first time I tried trying their bibingka was with my mom at Greenbelt 1 and they have one of the best Filipino merienda (snack) in town. When my mom and I would shop at The Landmark, we never fail to dine at their branch there. Try their bibingka or puto bungbong even if it's not Christmas season. I also love their "tsokolate" and Pansit Luglug.

They have branches at:
  • The Landmark, Makati City
  • Greenhills Promenade, San Juan
  • Serendra Piazza, Taguig City
  • Greenbelt 1, Makati City
  • The Block, Quezon City
  • Power Plant, Makati City
  • SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City

Red Mango Philippines

I was talking to my best friend just this evening, she is having a pampering at a foot salon and I wish we were together instead of just chatting via the messenger. We plan to come together again there soon though and she mentioned her treating me to Red Mango. I heard the name several times but haven't tried it myself. It has nice reviews and my best friend explained that they actually serve Yogurt Ice Cream! No guilt feeling for us who love ice cream but is on a diet. I will definitely blog about Red Mango again, as soon as I tried it myself but right now let me share to you their branches her in the Metro.

Direct TV It Is!

My Aunt has been telling me online about their cable problem and I suggested Direct TV to her and she actually heard about DirectTV before but didn't pay much attention because she's not paying attention when my cousins were complaining about their cable subscription but now that she quit her second job and has extra time at home, she notices the problem plus their billing does not come on time which is very annoying right? I further explained to her the Direct TV Packages that I actually love which are the Premier package, the ultimate entertainment package that has 265 plus channels, all premium movie and sports channels and gives you 12 FREE HD Pay Per View movie. The Plus HD DVR package, where you get 200 plus channels plus a DVR channel set up in which a DVR service is included that lets you record shows, games and movies on time so you can watch it, fast forward or rewind when you want it. With great Direct TV Deals, I had my Aunt convinced and she is actually planning to get a quote in their area so she can have the subscription now. I bet she will enjoy her tv viewing in no time.

Remaining Holidays for 2009 in the Philippines

I applied for a leave on the days September 3 and 4 to celebrate my husband's birthday and I have no clue that the president will be declaring September 7 a non working holiday so it is pure luck that the husband and I spent 5 glorious days this weekend. I am loving September. HAHA. Anyway, aside for tomorrow's declared holiday, here are the remaining holidays for 2009 here in the Philippines...

21 Sep Eid Ul Fitr.
1 Nov All Saints' Day.
30 Nov Bonifacio Day.
25 Dec Christmas Day.
30 Dec Rizal Day.
31 Dec New Year's Eve.

And the December long vacations because of Christmas is not even included. Yey!

Shop at ShopWiki

Have you heard about a search engine for shopping? This is I think is one brilliant idea and for a shopaholic like me, this is one masterpiece. You can search any store you want to see in just a click of the button. From Women Clothing Designers to Baby Stuff, you can find every store there is online. Last week, my sister even asked me to help her look for some winter clothes since Winter is coming and I was able to give her links from the Women's Winter Style Guide and she is so happy to browse stores and great items online. I on the other hand had nothing to do yesterday and browsed some Women Suits and was so surprised to know that there are so many types of suits for us. I thought Men can only enjoy them but no, there are very nice and appropriate suits for us too, thanks to ShopWiki's Women's Suit Shopping Guide.

I think that ShopWiki will help working moms like me who needs to prepare for Christmas. Shopping will be very easy since as busy as I am, I have less time window shopping and going online gives me all the chance to window shop, order online and just wrap everything during my free time. I also realized that there are so many online stuff where you can compare prices of what you want to buy. The possibilities are endless and I'm glad I discovered ShopWiki.

Ruby Tuesday

Another take on the Ruby.

This was taken outside a hotel in Manila. Just near the pool area. I love how vintage looking it is.
